Truist Park is the Braves’ home field, which opened in 2017. The stadium has a seating capacity of 41,000 and features a unique design with a mix of modern amenities and nods to traditional southern architecture. New York Yankees
The New York Yankees are perhaps the most iconic team in all of sports. They were founded in 1901 as the Baltimore Orioles and moved to New York in 1903, becoming the Highlanders. In 1913, they officially became the New York Yankees. The team has won 27 World Series championships, more than any other team in MLB history. They have also won 40 American League pennants and 19 division titles. The current roster includes stars like Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, and Gerrit Cole.
The Yankees play their home games at Yankee Stadium, which opened in 2009. The stadium has a seating capacity of 47,309 and features modern amenities like multiple video boards and high-end food options. Fans can also visit Monument Park, which pays tribute to some of the greatest players and moments in Yankees history. Yankee Stadium is located in the Bronx, a diverse and vibrant borough of New York City.
Baseball Culture in Atlanta
Atlanta has a rich baseball culture, with a long history of supporting the Braves. The team’s success in the 1990s and early 2000s helped to solidify their place as a beloved institution in the city. Fans can be heard chanting the team’s signature “Tomahawk Chop” throughout games, and there is a strong sense of community among Braves fans.
In addition to the Braves, Atlanta is also home to the College Football Hall of Fame and the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame, which pay tribute to the city’s deep ties to football. Baseball Culture in New York
