On Friday, April 15th, 2022, WWE’s SmackDown made its way to the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. The arena was packed with enthusiastic fans who were eager to see their favorite WWE Superstars in action.
The show kicked off with a match between two of WWE’s rising stars, Ricochet and Mustafa Ali. The two high-flyers put on a fantastic display of athleticism, with each man attempting to outdo the other. In the end, it was Ricochet who emerged victorious, hitting Ali with a 630 Senton for the win.

Next up was a tag team match between The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso). The match was a hard-hitting affair, with both teams trading blows back and forth. In the end, it was The Usos who were able to pick up the win, hitting Ford with a double superkick and a double Uso Splash for the victory.
One of the highlights of the night was a segment featuring the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. The two women came to the ring to address the crowd, but their celebration was cut short by the arrival of their challengers, Natalya and Tamina. The two teams engaged in a heated exchange, with Natalya and Tamina vowing to take the titles from Ripley and A.S.H.
The segment ended with the two teams brawling in the ring, setting the stage for a future title match between the two teams.
The main event of the night saw Roman Reigns defend his Universal Championship against Cesaro. The match was a physical battle, with both men throwing everything they had at each other. Cesaro was able to hit Reigns with several of his signature moves, including the Cesaro Swing and the Neutralizer, but Reigns was able to kick out.
In the end, it was Reigns who was able to retain his title, hitting Cesaro with a Spear for the victory. The crowd was disappointed, but they applauded both men for putting on a fantastic match.
Overall, SmackDown at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska was a great night of WWE action. From the opening match between Ricochet and Mustafa Ali to the main event between Reigns and Cesaro, the show provided plenty of excitement for the WWE Universe. With the Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. also in action, the show gave fans a glimpse of the future of WWE’s women’s division.
The Pinnacle Bank Arena provided a great venue for the event, with the fans filling the arena with energy and enthusiasm. The WWE Superstars were able to feed off this energy, putting on some of their best performances of the year.
Overall, SmackDown in Lincoln, Nebraska was a great showcase of the talent and athleticism that WWE has to offer. With the Women’s Tag Team Championship feud heating up and the Universal Championship still in the hands of Roman Reigns, it will be interesting to see what happens next on the road to WrestleMania.
