Tony Yoka, a French Olympian, will compete on Saturday, November 11. March, in a 10-round Main Event at the “Zenith Paris” in Paris, France, against Carlos Takam, an ex-Herausforderer vying for the WM title.

There are two additional matches on the Paris Undercard: Tony Yoka (11-1-0, 9 KO victories) had a successful amateur career that included victories over Joseph Parker, Filip Hrgovi, and Joe Joyce, of whom he defeated Joe Joyce in the Olympic Games’ final round to win the gold medal. Before suffering his first defeat to the powerful Englishman Martin Bakole in May of last year, Yoka became a pro in 2017 and went on to win 11 matches.

The Olympian, who is 30 years old, wants to continue his upward trend in the Schwergewichtsrangliste by winning against Takam. Carlos Takam is a Kamerun-born heavyweight boxer who has a 39-7-1 record and 28 knockout victories. He represented his home country in the Olympic Games in 2004 and challenged Anthony Joshua for the combined heavyweight title in 2017. In his most recent fight, he defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov via knockout, forcing the fight to last for the first time 10 rounds.
On the same fight card, Thomas Faure and Dan Azeez compete for the EM title in the middleweight division.
In a 12-round fight for the Europameister title, British Halbschwergewicht Dan Azeez (18-0-0, 12 KO-Sieges) takes on Franzose Thomas Faure (21-4-1, 2 KO-Sieges). Azeez is looking to maintain his unbeaten record. Azeez, 33, is getting closer to becoming a world champion and defeated Rocky Fielding, a former world champion, by TKO in the eighth round in December.
Lauren Price, a gold medalist at the Olympics (2-0-0, 1 KO-Sieg), will make her professional debut against Naomi Mannes (6-1-0, 4 KO-Sieges) in a Welterweight Achtrundenkampf in 2023. In October of last year, the walisische Olympiasiegerin won by TKO, while Naomi Mannes lost her fight for the Europameister title in November.
After two years off, the unbeaten middleweight Farrhad Saad (8-0-1) returns to fight the Briton Macaulay McGowan (17-3-1, 3 KO-Sieges).
