Collins then showed his skill, breaking through the Moana Pasifika defense to score under the posts. Ioane converted both tries, bringing the score to 31-17 in favor of the Highlanders.
The Moana Pasifika team refused to give up, and were rewarded with a try from lock Tupou Vaa’i. Vaa’i showed his strength, powering his way over the Highlanders try line to score. Black converted the try, bringing the score to 31-24 in favor of the Highlanders.
